A Revolution in Kindness

Class of 2017

funding the future

Class of 2017

It is with a mixture of both sadness and pride that we announce all the groups funded at our last ever grants meeting.

To be honest, there is another potential grant in the pipeline but we are still sorting out all the necessary red tape and banking bits from this small group out in the field.

So, without any further ado, we present the Class of 2017 – the ‘Heritage’ Grants we funded:

Animal Research UK (formerly known as Dr Hadwen Trust)

Basel Action Network (BAN)

Body & Soul

Child Soldier International

Children on the Edge

Cybersmile Foundation

Environmental Justice Foundation

Global Witness

Last Great Ape Organisation (LAGA)

National Association for Peoples Abused in Childhood (NAPAC)

Plastic Soup Foundation

The Teddy Trust

Witness to Guantanamo

Womankind Worldwide

We’d like to mark this occasion by thanking all Trustees – past and present – for their support, diligence and passion in finding and funding the right organisations over the years.  Board Meetings have never been dull over the years and we’d like to thank the current Trustee Board for their support, expertise and wisdom – particularly over the last trying 2 years.

These groups and grants give an insight into the spirit and DNA of our organisation.  From our early Roddick led days to this last grants meeting, we’ve looked for the extraordinary.  We look at these grants awarded as seeds for tomorrow – identifying in both the organisation and programmes they run, the same sense of spirit, the maverick, the entrepreneurial, the risk takers, the world changers and result makers.

Do us proud, role call of 2017.
